Replacement of Alternator Belt

Model: Kia Rio DC, MK 1 - Years 2000-2005
Part: V-belt

Obtain the original replacement belt. Remove the engine protection cover for easier access. Remove the protective casing and, using a fixed spanner and the appropriate tool, lock the pulley and loosen the tensioner. Lever the tensioner to relieve tension and remove the belt. Remove the bolts from the two tensioner supports and take them out. Replace the pulleys and tensioners with the new parts, ensuring all components are reassembled correctly. Install the tensioners and new belts following the assembly diagram. Verify proper operation and battery charging.
