In the following guide dedicated to all of you who own a first-generation Kia Forte, we will discover the steps you need to take if you want to replace the license plate light yourself. First of all, purchase a new bulb that is perfectly compatible, then lift the rear hood of the vehicle and remove the rubber caps located on the top of the hood. Once you have done this, unscrew all the screws with a crosshead screwdriver and completely remove the protective cover. Finally, locate the license plate light and replace it with the new one.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
