How to Replace the Key Battery on a Kia Soul

Model: Kia Soul MK 2 - Years 2013-2018

Start by pressing the button that opens the physical key. This will create a slot. Next, unclip the back cover of the key, optionally using a medium-sized flat screwdriver. Once you have removed the back cover, you will have access to the exhausted battery of the Kia Soul key. You will then need to remove it by simply extracting it from its housing, completing the disassembly. To fit the new battery and close the key, just follow these steps in reverse order, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
