Fuel Filter Replacement on Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage JA, MK 1 - Years 1993-2002
Part: Diesel fuel filter

Let's replace the diesel filter on a Kia Sportage. Lift the front bonnet and identify the components to remove to access the diesel filter. Unscrew the screws securing the battery terminals. Remove the power battery located above the container where the diesel filter is situated to take it out. Once the battery is removed, take out the fuel filter from the vehicle (replace it with a new one). Fit the new filter (connect the electrical terminals and various circulation hoses). Refit the battery and the electrical terminals once the filter installation is complete.
