How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Kia Sportage?

To replace the timing belt on the Kia Sportage, open the bonnet and remove the cover from the side of the engine to access the pulleys. Here, you will need to loosen the central bolt that secures the tensioner pulley and then loosen the bolts that secure the water pump. It is advisable to place a container under the pump to collect the coolant that will spill. Now, it will be possible to slide the belt off the pulleys and replace it with a new spare part. After installation, reinstall all previously removed parts.
