Today's main steps will show us the necessary instructions on how to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Kia Sportage 2.7 V6; the manufacturer states, for this type of engine, that the timing belt should be changed every 90,000 kilometers or six years.

So, we open the hood of the car and remove the pulley located on the front, disconnecting the belt; we raise the car to remove the crankshaft pulley, then remove the timing cover, as shown in the video.

At this point, we replace the timing belt with the original one!
