How to Replace the Windscreen Washer Pump on a Kia Sorento

This guide shows how to replace the washer pump on a Kia Sorento. First, ensure the windscreen wipers are functioning and that there is water in the reservoir. If it still does not work, it needs replacing. Locate the washer reservoir on the left side of the engine bay; the pump is attached to the reservoir. You can access it from underneath the vehicle, through the wheel arch, or by removing the front bumper. Disconnect the power supply and, using pliers, lift the plastic retaining tab. At this point, you can detach the water hose and pull out the pump. Before inserting the new pump, it is advisable to also replace the gasket.
