How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Kia Sportage?

To replace the timing belt on the Kia Sportage, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. This will allow you to remove the cover from the side of the engine and unscrew the central bolt of the tensioner pulley so that it can be removed. To loosen the lower pulleys, you will need to remove the right wheel and the cover of the wheel arch. Once the belt is loosened, it can be removed from its housing and replaced. After replacement, reinstall all previously removed parts.
