How to Replace the Boot Handle on a Kia Picanto

Model: Kia Picanto TA, MK 2 - Years 2011-2018

Before you begin, open the boot. You can then start by removing the boot panel, unscrewing and simply removing the screws that hold it in place. This will reveal the three plastic bolts that secure the handle. Proceed to unscrew and remove all three bolts. Before you can completely remove it, disconnect the connector attached to it, as it is an electrically operated handle. After that, you can remove the handle from its housing, successfully completing the disassembly. To fit the new handle, simply follow the steps in reverse, and you will have successfully replaced the boot handle.
