Then, use a small screwdriver to pry open the side and detach the cover of the key fob. Once the cover is removed, you will find the battery compartment underneath. To extract it, use a sharp object to pry it out and take the new CR 2032 battery, placing it in the compartment with the positive terminal facing inward. Finally, take the cover again, snap it back on, and reinsert the emergency key.
