Replacing Front Discs and Pads

Once the vehicle is lifted on the ramp, remove the front wheel and then the brake caliper from its support; remove the worn pads and detach the caliper support to access the disc. Unscrew the disc retaining bolts (a impact screwdriver may be useful) and remove it with a few taps of a hammer.

Install the new disc after cleaning it of protective oil residue, secure it by tightening the retaining bolts, reattach the caliper support, insert the new pads, and push back the caliper piston before repositioning it.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Jeep Renegade, inflate the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure: this value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver’s door pillar. Once the tyres are properly inflated, navigate through the menu that appears on the instrument cluster until you find the tyre pressure option. At this point, press and hold the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel to make the warning light disappear.
