Replacing Brake Pads on Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage MK 2, KM - Years 2004-2010

Loosen the front wheel bolts, lift the front of the car with a jack, and remove the aforementioned bolts along with the wheels. Unscrew the two 14 mm bolts at the brake caliper (one at the top and one at the bottom of the caliper) while holding the 17 mm nut steady with another spanner. Once done, you can remove the brake caliper, making it easy to replace the pads at this point. The procedure is the same for both front wheels, and for reassembly, proceed in reverse order. This is a task within everyone's reach.
