How to Change the Gearbox Oil on a Kia Sportage.

In this video tutorial, you can see how to change the gearbox oil on a Kia Sportage. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Raise the car with a hydraulic jack and place support stands to prevent the car from falling. Position a container under the gearbox to collect the used oil, unscrew the oil drain plug located near the left wheel; use a 17 mm spanner and wait 10 minutes for all the oil to drain into the container, lower the car to aid the oil flow. When removing the gearbox oil plug, note that it is magnetic; if there are metal pieces, it indicates that the gearbox is not functioning properly. Once all the oil has drained, screw the plug back on with the new gasket, tightening it as necessary. Top up with new oil and additive. (Check the owner's manual for the type of oil required for the gearbox).

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
