To replace the remote key battery of the Kia Sportage, lift the emergency key by pressing the appropriate button on the top of the device. Once the key is lifted, you can pry inside its housing, detaching the rear cover of the remote. Under this cover, there will be another round cover secured by screws: by unscrewing them and removing the circular cover, you will access the battery, which should then be removed and replaced. After the replacement, reassemble all the removed parts.
