As we can see in this tutorial, changing the air filter in your KIA Optima is a very simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, let's make sure that the engine is completely cold in order to operate in complete safety. Let's start by opening the hood, then move to the driver's side and locate the airbox. Subsequently, release the metal clips located on the front side of the same, loosen the collector clamp with a 10mm wrench and disconnect it. Once the box has been opened, we can take out the old filter, clean the inside and fit the replacement following the reverse procedure.
