The first thing to do is to purchase a new air filter. We climb aboard the car, engage the handbrake, then pull the hood lever to lift the engine hood, and then secure it with the appropriate rod. Unclip the air filter cover (swing them down to open it) and remove the filter from its housing, clean the air filter cover and its housing with a compressor and a clean soft cloth. Replace the old filter with a new one. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery.
