If you need to replace the battery in this vehicle model because it is depleted, the following description outlines all the necessary steps to safely perform the replacement. The battery is located in the engine compartment on the left side.

To access it, remove the screws securing the air intake duct of the filter. Then, disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal.

Using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolt securing the lower bracket. Next, remove the battery and replace it with the new one. Reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, and finally, reattach the bolt for the securing bracket.
