Resetting the Service Light on the Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage QL, MK 4 - Years 2016-2022

After changing the engine oil on the Kia Sportage, you need to reset the system that alerts you to this operation. Sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. Using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, press the "menu" button, then select "setting" and then "convenience" on the central display. Always confirm with the "ok" button. Within this menu, select "service interval", then go to "reset" and confirm with "yes". A message on the display will confirm the reset.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
