After changing the engine oil and oil filter, you will need to reset the maintenance light; here’s how to reset the service light on a Kia Soul. First, get inside the vehicle and turn on the ignition; then press the menu button until you reach the service option, pressing and holding the down arrow button for about five seconds, as shown in the video.

At this point, the maintenance key will be reset, and the mileage until the next service will be displayed!
