The guide below shows you how to best replace your car's brake discs. The braking system is of utmost importance to ensure that the vehicle always maintains optimum efficiency. The replacement procedure can be carried out independently without resorting to the help of the mechanic, all you need is a good deal of manual skills. First you will need to jack up the car and remove the rim after removing the wheel bolts, then take a hex wrench and unscrew all the bolts that hold the caliper firmly to the frame on the rear side. Once this is done, only the caliper bracket will remain with the brake pads inside. The latter must be removed using a suitable flat screwdriver, paying particular attention not to damage the disc. Then the bolts that hold the bracket firmly to the hub must be unscrewed. At this point, only the brake disc will remain and will need to be replaced.
