How to Replace the Remote Control of the Kia Sportage

Model: Kia Sportage MK 2, KM - Years 2004-2010

Using a flathead screwdriver, separate the two halves of the shell, both from the new remote and the old one. Prepare the new key by transferring the metal key from the old remote to the new one.
Carefully remove the circuit board and battery from the old remote, and gently extract the transponder chip as well.
All these components must be placed in the same position they had before but in the new shell.
To close the new shell securely, apply pressure between the two halves and screw in the small provided screw.
