How to replace the spark plug of the KTM 300

Today we will show you how to replace the spark plug on a KTM 300 motorcycle in order to maintain optimal engine performance. Before starting with the removal procedure, let's start the motorcycle to heat up the spark plug so that it can be removed more easily.

Remove the seat of the motorcycle by unscrewing the first screw located on the side. Remove the screws on the radiator to detach the two side fairings and detach the tank.

Remove the cap and the cable by pulling from the top end with force, clean the area of the spark plug before inserting the new one. Loosen the spark plug with a spark plug wrench by unscrewing it counterclockwise. Insert the new spark plug and tighten it with a torque wrench.

Insert the cap and the cable, and the fairing pieces.

How to Change the Engine Oil on a Benelli 150

To change the engine oil on a Benelli 150, ensure the bike is on a stable surface, using the centre stand to keep it upright. Before starting, it's helpful to run the engine for a few minutes to warm the oil and facilitate drainage. Turn off the engine and locate the drain plug situated under the engine. Using an appropriate spanner, loosen the plug and position a container underneath to collect the used oil. Allow it to drain completely, ensuring all the liquid is removed. Once emptied, carefully re-tighten the plug, avoiding overtightening. Using a funnel, slowly pour new oil into the tank, checking the level with the dipstick or inspection window. When the level is correct, start the engine for a couple of minutes to circulate the new oil, then turn it off and check the level again, topping up if necessary.
