How to replace engine oil and filters on a KTM 400 EXC

Today in this video I will show you how to change the oil and filters on our KTM 400 EXC. First we disassemble the plastic that protects the sump of the bike, unscrew the bolt that acts as a base and let all the engine oil drain into a pan, in the meantime that the oil is drained, remove the side cover of the crankcase and disassemble the two filter covers placed at the front (just unscrew the two bolts), take out the filters, clean them well where they are housed with the help of a cloth, insert the new ones and mount the crankcase cover. Now mount the cap that is used to drain the oil, screw the plastic lid again and insert the new oil through the top cap.

How do you replace the piston of the TM Racing SMR 125?

In order to replace the piston of the TM Racing SMR 125 you have to go to access the internal components of the engine: in particular, it will be necessary to unscrew the screws that fix the cylinder, inside which the piston is enclosed. By unscrewing these screws and disconnecting the connectors connected to the cylinder, it will be possible to remove the latter, so that you have access to the piston: this can now be removed from its connecting rod by removing its seeger ring. After the old piston has been removed, it will be necessary to insert the new one, also fitting the relative cylinder removed previously.
