In this brief and simple guide, you will learn how to perform routine maintenance by changing the transmission oil in the KTM XC 300 enduro bike, as well as the 250. First, place your bike on a stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Then, unscrew the filler cap to allow the oil to drain more quickly.

At this point, top up with new gearbox oil, filling to the correct level (approximately 0.8 litres).
