In order to replace the battery of the Kymco Xciting S 400i, you need to open the underseat compartment by releasing the pin that locks it: once the seat has been lifted, you will be able to locate the battery housing at the front of the underseat compartment. You can remove the panel that covers the top of the battery, then free it from the screws and disconnect the power cables: this way you can insert the new battery, covering it with the panel. At this point, you can close the underseat compartment, checking that everything works.
