In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the remote battery of the Kymco AK 550 scooter, a very simple and quick operation. You will need a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement CR2450 battery.

First, locate the slot on the bottom edge of the remote, then insert the screwdriver tip into it, lever it open, and separate the two halves. Next, remove the internal module, take out the old battery, and insert the replacement, ensuring the polarity is correct.

To reassemble, simply follow the reverse procedure.
