To change the motor oil of a Triumph Speed 400, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes, so that the oil becomes more fluid and can be easily drained. After turning off the engine, lift the motorcycle using the center stand to ensure stability. Place a basin under the oil drain plug, located on the bottom of the engine. Unscrew the drain plug with the appropriate wrench and let the used oil flow completely into the basin. Once the oil has finished draining, screw the drain plug back on and make sure it is tightly closed. Now, remove the oil filler cap and, using a funnel, pour the new oil into the engine, being careful not to exceed the capacity indicated in the manual. After adding the oil, check the level using the dipstick, adding more oil if necessary. Start the engine for a short period to circulate the oil, then turn it off and recheck the level, topping up if needed.
