Lada Granta - Video tutorial

Model: Lada Granta MK 1 - Years 2011-2023
Part: Bodywork
Operation: How to repair a rusty handle on a Lada Granta.

We will see how to repair a rusty handle on a Lada Granta. In fact, our YouTuber had a big problem with an ugly rust bubble on the handle. Despite being clearly someone who knows how to use the equipment at his disposal - not the paint though - the result is just passable, but certainly better than the initial rust bubble. The first thing to do is to partially disassemble the door from the inside so that you can access the screw that holds the external handle in place. We remove the window crank (it is a rear door), we remove the handle and the plastic part of the internal door comes off. We remove the main screw from the external cheek. Now, behind the insulation, we find the screw that holds the handle in place. Rusty too, but a little bit of loosening agent is enough to remove it. We can remove the handle. Now with the grinder and rasp, we remove the rust and return to the metal. With very fine sandpaper, we go over the metal well and clean it well. Now prepare the two-component putty and apply it to the metal. Let it dry and then sand it with very fine sandpaper. We skip the step where our YouTuber makes a very ugly patch thinking he can only paint the treated part. After that, he has to sand practically the entire door to get a decent result. He will mark what he does not want to paint and then reassemble the handle. The result is decent, however much better than the previous rust bubble.

How to reset the tire pressure warning light on Dacia Sandero?

Let's see below how it is possible to reset the low tire pressure signal on the car: first of all it is necessary to check the correct tire pressure by comparing it with the pressures reported in the use and maintenance manual. After that, turn on the ignition and locate the command on the right side of the steering wheel at the top that allows you to access the on-board computer menu, then select the car symbol, after which select the "up arrow" command up to that the indication "tire pressure" appears on the display. At that point, press the "Ok" control on the steering wheel and keep it pressed to reset the signal.
