Replacing the Original Radio with Another Model

Model: Lancia Ypsilon Y1, Ypsilon 1, MK 1, 840 - Years 1996-2003

First, remove the original radio using the appropriate extraction keys and disconnect the plugs connected to it. Insert the support frame by bending some metal tabs inward to secure it. Connect the adapter wiring to the original plugs for the installation of the new radio and make the additional electrical connections for the microphone installation (running the relevant cable from the fuse box inside the windscreen pillar) and the USB port to be located inside the glove compartment. Then, connect the plugs to the new radio, insert it into the support until it clicks into place, apply the trim and secure the front panel to perform a functionality check of the various available functions.
