To disable the passenger airbag on a Lancia Ypsilon, turn on the ignition and use the controls on the central dashboard panel to navigate through the options on the display. Once you find the option regarding the passenger airbag, press the SET button: this will change the icon on the screen indicating whether the airbag is activated or deactivated.

By selecting "OFF", you can confirm that the airbag will be disabled, and then switch off and back on the ignition to check the setting.
