To deactivate the passenger airbag in the Lancia Ypsilon, start by turning on the instrument panel and then the engine. Press the "set" button below the instrument panel, then press the down arrow button until "passenger bag" appears. Press the "set" button, then press the up arrow button to make "off" flash. Press the "set" button, then press the up arrow button to make "yes" flash. Press the "set" button and the display will show "deactivated" while the warning light remains on, indicating that the passenger airbag is deactivated. To reactivate it, press the "set" button on the "passenger bag" display, press the up arrow button to make "on" flash, press the "set" button, press the up arrow button to make "yes" flash, press the "set" button and the display will show "activated" while the airbag warning light turns off.
