How to Activate or Deactivate the Airbag on the Lancia Ypsilon

To turn off the airbag warning light for the passenger airbag on a Lancia Ypsilon, start the car, but this can also be done with just the instrument panel on, using the buttons on the upper panel of the radio. Press the "set" button, and the display will show "reset tyres". Press the down arrow (next button to the right) until the display shows "passenger bag". Press the "set" button, and the display will show "bag pass: off" with the 'off' flashing. Press the down arrow (next button to the right) until it shows "on" instead of "off". Press the "set" button, and the display will show "confirm: no". Press the down arrow (next button to the right) until it shows "yes" instead of "no". Press the "set" button, and the display will show "passenger bag enabled". Finally, return to the main menu by holding the "set" button until the main screen appears, and the airbag light will be off. To deactivate the airbag, the display must show "bag pass: off". If this is displayed, you can return to the main menu; if it shows "passenger bag: on", do the opposite of what was described to activate it. Now you can turn off the car and the instrument panel.
