The procedure to disassemble and replace the battery in the key fob for the Land Rover Defender takes just a few minutes. First, grab your key fob and remove the physical key located inside it. Then, use the same key to pry open the slot created to remove the back cover of the fob and access the battery compartment, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); position it in the correct orientation and secure the back cover of the fob!
