This video shows where the battery is located in the Land Rover Defender and how to proceed if you need to replace it, a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the battery is not in the typical engine compartment housing but inside the cabin, specifically under the passenger seat.

To access it and subsequently replace it, first ensure the key is not in the ignition, then lift the seat cushion and remove the protective panel. Next, disconnect both terminals starting with the negative, unscrew the mounting bolts, and proceed to install the replacement.
