How to Change the Key Battery on Range Rover Sport

Is the battery in your Range Rover Sport key due for replacement? Let’s replace it. First, take the remote key and separate the metal key located on the side. Use a screwdriver to pry apart the two plastic halves and remove the dead battery. Take a new battery of the same type and voltage and insert it into the key. Assemble the new battery of the same type and size. Rejoin the plastic halves of the key. Check the functionality of the Land Rover Sport remote key. Reattach the metal key to the remote.
