How to Disconnect the Battery on a Range Rover Sport L494

Model: Land Rover Range Rover MK 2 - Years 2012-2021

Before leaving your Range Rover Sport parked for a while, whether for a trip or other reasons, you may need to disconnect the battery to avoid an unpleasant surprise upon your return. Here’s how to do it: open the hood, lift and remove the bottom of the trunk, unscrew the center bolt of the spare tire to remove it, and take off the covering on the bottom to access the battery. Using a "10mm socket wrench", disconnect the negative terminal and ensure the cable is well insulated so it does not contact the battery terminal.
