How to Remove a Factory Radio

Model: Land Rover Defender MK 5 - Years 1983-1990

In this short video, you will see how to remove a factory radio. The only tools you need are two release keys (be careful, as some radios may require specific keys that are not universal). In this case, each release key has two pointed ends that you will insert into the holes of the radio. Once inserted, they will lock in place, and at this point, just pull everything towards you to extract the entire unit. Finally, disconnect the various connections attached to the back of the radio, including the antenna cable.
