How to Replace the Gear Shift Knob on a Land Rover Defender?

Model: Land Rover Defender MK 5 - Years 1983-1990

To replace the gear shift knob on a Land Rover Defender, loosen the nut at the base of the knob using a wrench. Once the nut is loosened, you can rotate the knob counterclockwise to remove it completely. After removal, reposition the nut and screw the knob back onto the end of the lever. Finally, tighten the previously loosened nut with the wrench to secure it.
