To replace the handbrake boot on a Land Rover Range Rover, first remove the plastic cover located at the end of the lever. Once this is detached, pry up the bottom of the leather cover so that the internal clips holding it in place can be released.

Then, the boot can be completely removed from the lever, and you can install the new boot. Once it is secured to its base with the internal clips, reinstall the plastic cover.
