How to Replace the Key Fob Shell of a Land Rover

Today, you will learn how to replace the shell of a Range Rover remote key fob. After purchasing a new remote, the first step is to replace the internal microchip with the original one. To remove the microchip from the old remote, first, open it in two. To do this quickly and easily, you can use a hacksaw and pliers as shown in the video, or use a screwdriver to open the remote, extract the metal key, and then the rest. Once you have the original microchip, insert it into the new remote. Take the new remote and, with the help of a screwdriver, open it by prying on one side and insert the original microchip inside. Insert the battery and close everything up.
