How to Reset the Service Light on the Lexus IS

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013

To reset the maintenance light on the Lexus IS, park the car safely and work with the engine off. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine and use the ODO/TRIP button to display Trip A. Once Trip A is displayed, turn off the ignition again. Press and hold the ODO/TRIP button, then turn the ignition back on while keeping the button pressed. Continue holding it until the reset indication appears on the display, completing the procedure. Release the button only when the operation is finished. Finally, turn the ignition off and on again to check that the maintenance warning is no longer present. If the light reappears, ensure you have correctly selected Trip A before starting the procedure and repeat from the beginning. The reset clears the reminder but does not replace actual maintenance tasks.
