Replacing the Car Key Remote Battery

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Key

This video shows how to replace the battery in the car remote. Place the remote on a flat surface, extract the emergency key from the housing, marked by the bright silver finish, using the lock button on the top. Using a lever, separate the two parts of the remote casing, the button panel and the cover. At this point, the circuit board will be visible; remove it, noting the orientation facilitated by a chamfer on the top right corner. Flip the board over to find the battery. Remove the 3-volt flat battery and replace it. Reassemble everything, first the board, then applying slight pressure to the remote casing, reinsert the emergency key, locking it with the appropriate button, and finally test the remote's functionality.

How to remove and replace the lift supports for the hood on a Porsche 911? Let's see how to replace them in this video: Lift the hood and secure it. Use a screwdriver or metal lever to detach the clips that hold the lift support at both ends (or unscrew the mounting pins). Install the new part onto the sheet metal of the front trunk, securing the lift support with the clips/pins. Proceed in the same manner for the removal/installation of the opposite lift support. Finally, test the gas springs installed earlier.
