If you want to change the look of your car by replacing the frieze and the rear writings of the manufacturer, which are chromed, with others in matt black for example, you can proceed as follows: 1) mark the position of the rear writings with paper tape; 2) use a plastic spatula to unstick the rear lettering (it may be useful to heat up with a hairdryer) and unhook the front and rear friezes; 3) remove excess glue (both on the bodywork and behind the badges) with anti-silicone or acrylic solvent; 4) dull the surface of the crests with scotch brite and clean thoroughly; 5) paint the badges with plastic paint and wait for it to dry completely; 6) apply the double-sided adhesive behind the badges without going out from the edges and fix them in place.
