If you intend to replace the battery yourself on this vehicle model, the description below provides the entire procedure and necessary information for a safe replacement. Once you lift the hood, you will find the battery on the left side.

Proceed to remove the screws that hold the mounting plate, then disconnect the negative terminal first and the positive terminal second. Remove the battery from its housing and replace it with a new one, then reconnect the positive terminal first and the negative terminal second, and finally reposition the upper mounting plate.
