To replace the rear shock absorber on a Maruti Dzire, lift the vehicle so that the rear wheel is off the ground. Then, remove the bolts securing the wheel, completely take it off, and unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber at the bottom near the hub. To unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber at the top, open the trunk and access the bolts from inside the trunk.

Once these are unscrewed, you can completely remove the shock absorber and replace it with a new part.
