To replace the rear shock absorber on a Maruti Swift, lift the car using a jack so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the ground. Then, unscrew the bolts securing the wheel to remove it, allowing access to the components at the rear. Next, loosen the bolts that secure the shock absorber at both the bottom and top: the top one will be accessible by opening the boot and lifting the plastic cover inside the boot. This will allow you to fit the new shock absorber, and then reattach the corresponding wheel.
