How to Change the Battery in a Maruti Key

If it's time to replace the battery in your Maruti remote key, the same procedure applies to Suzuki keys. Start by gathering a small screwdriver and extracting the security key by pressing the small button on the front. Use the security key or the screwdriver to pry open the gap between the remote cover and the remote itself. Remove the cover, lift the control plate, and underneath the circuit board, you will find the battery compartment. Proceed to remove the battery and replace it with a new CR 2032 model, ensuring the positive terminal is facing upwards. Refit the circuit board, the control plate, and reattach the cover. Finally, reinsert the security key.
