The first thing to do when setting a new time on a Maruti Swift is to turn on the instrument panel and then press the button on the right side of the panel to open the vehicle settings menu and scroll to select "CLOCK". Access the clock menu and change the time format from 12h to 24h. Turn off the panel and turn it back on.
