How to Replace the Key Battery of a Maserati Ghibli

Model: Maserati Ghibli MK 1 - Years 2013-2024

Start by pressing the button located on the top of the key. Pressing this button will release the emergency key, allowing you to remove it from its housing. Once the emergency key is removed, you will see two Torx T6 screws, which you will unscrew and remove. After removing both screws, you can take off the chrome side covers. This will reveal some slots. Insert the tip of a flat screwdriver into those slots and pry apart. This will separate the key into two halves. At this point, unscrew another Torx T6 screw that secures the key's motherboard, then remove the motherboard itself. After this, you will have access to the battery, which you can remove. To install the new battery and reassemble everything, simply follow the steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
