Operation: How to replace the key battery of a Maserati Ghibli

Let's start by pressing the button at the top of the key. By pressing that button, we will release the emergency key, and then remove it by extracting it from its housing. Once the emergency key has been removed, we will have discovered two Torx T6 screws, which we are going to unscrew and remove. When we have completed the removal of both screws, we will be able to remove the chrome side covers. By doing so, we will have discovered cracks. We will therefore have to go to insert the tip of a flat screwdriver in those slots, and then leverage. By doing so we will have separated the key in two. At this point, we will have to unscrew another Torx T6 screw that secures the motherboard of the key, and then remove the motherboard itself. Once this is done, we will have reached the battery, which we can remove. To mount the new battery and close everything, we will simply have to follow the steps in reverse, and we will have finished with the replacement.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
