How to replace the shell of a Maserati key

Replacing the shell of a key is a very simple operation, let's take for example the key/remote of the Maserati Coupe to carry out the replacement of the shell you will need: a new shell, a small screwdriver, and a CW2032 battery. The first thing to do is to remove the metal key from the shell, to do this you will need to press the button and use a screwdriver to lever it out. Once the key is removed, you can insert the screwdriver into the small hole and lever it to open it in two parts. After opening the remote, you can extract the microchip. At this point, take the new shell and insert the microchip on one side and the new battery on the other. Then take the key and remove the screw to insert a new one. Insert the key into the shell and reassemble everything.
